Employee Benefits Consultant
My Client is currently looking for an experienced Employee Benefits Consultant to join their team in Aberdeen. THE ROLE ? Ability to develop strong relationships with both new and existing corporate clients ? Maintain and develop a portfolio of clients by providing high quality advice and consultancy both initially and ongoing ? Ensure that revenue from this portfolio is profitable, identify and expand lines of cover and service delivery ? Ability to draw up and negotiate on services / fee agreements - both internally and with clients / prospects ? Develop and maintain relationships leading to new business introductions ? Provide a friendly and professional service to all Employee Benefits clients ? To not only meet the client?s expectations but to exceed them ? Take overall responsibility for the delivery of agreed services to the client and the invoicing of fees ? Develop additional income from cross selling to existing clients ? To look for other new business opportunities for both Wealth Management Consultants and General Insurance broking colleagues within the group, as well as all potential EB products / services ? To assist in the development of Associate Consultants and others within the team as directed by your line manager ? Act with utmost integrity and as a role model to others, operating within Company and FCA rules, guidelines and Compliance requirements. THE CANDIDATE ? Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) qualified ? PMI (or equivalent) Qualified. ? Experience in an Employee Benefits Consultant role. ? Ability to exceed revenue, portfolio, sales targets ? Resilience when faced with internal and external challenges ? Technical knowledge ? Process and product knowledge - DC pensions, group risk and PMI ? Excellent consulting and client relationship managements skills ? Entrepreneurial, business orientated approach ? Experience of working with large corporate companies ? Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative ? Trustworthy, Enthusiastic, Positive attitude ? Willing to assist and help develop other team members. ?
