Employee Benefits Consultant - New Business
Exchange Street has been retained by this national practice to facilitate further growth within their employee benefits division. Having undergone major expansion over the past few years the firm are extremely well placed within the Retail Distribution Review framework and are now seeking to add additional consultants to their specialist team. This is very much a new business focused role and will require an individual who is capable of presenting at board level in relation to complex employee benefit and group pension cases, particularly in light of auto-enrolment. The firm provides seminars throughout the UK to senior decision makers at sizeable businesses regarding issues such as auto-enrolment and require individuals with the gravitas, knowledge and new business skills to turn leads into business. Alongside this the practice has an extensive network of professional connections as well as access to thousands of clients through their banking division. Given the seniority/quality of adviser required it is also expected that applicants will be well connected to MDs, FDs etc. they have worked successfully with in the past to develop further business. To be considered it is essential to have extensive knowledge of the employee benefits/group pensions arena and will have a demonstrable track record of success working for a firm that specialises in the corporate arena. Candidates will need to be able to show how they have self-generated business in the past as it is vital that our client secures a very proactive individual. That said the firm do have an established proposition, excellent links to the professional connection marketplace and a marketing team, so full support is on offer to the right person. Diploma status is a minimum requirement but applicants who have progressed beyond this will be at an advantage.
