Paraplanner- Bury St Edmunds- ?30,000pa We are representing a very reputable client where the directors have over 70 years combined experience in Financial Services; they have been working in the local area for most of their careers ? building a strong network of contacts. They have a team of 35 highly qualified staff providing outstanding accountancy support and financial planning advice to a wide range of clients. This position is based in the financial planning department of the client?s office which is based in Bury St Edmunds. Reporting to the Financial Advisers, the responsibilities of the role include: ? Researching and analysing data appropriate to the client assignment, including liaising with product providers and other professional practices as necessary. ? Preparation of reports and proposals based upon gathered research to meet the requirements of delegated client assignment. ? General support to advisors in servicing clients, including liaising with clients as required, preparation for meetings, reviews of investment portfolios and ad hoc projects. ? Producing appropriate written correspondence to providers and clients. ? Maintaining client information accurately on the firm?s financial planning software (IRESS Adviser Office), as well as paper records, in a compliant manner. ? The ability to demonstrate good technical knowledge to undertake the relevant area of work and seek solutions to technical issues. The ideal candidate would have a proactive approach to problem solving. ? The ability to manage own time and work to deadlines, communicating effectively with senior team members as well as administration staff and work well in a team as a whole. Existing qualifications in the financial planning sector would be ideal and experience is essential. Depending on the candidate and current qualifications and experience, The client would be prepared to offer study support towards further qualifications if appropriate.
