Paraplanner ?30,000 - ?50,000 About us Leading general insurance and financial services firm looking to expand the Technical team. The Role Provide specialist Financial Planning advice, systems and technical support to Financial Advisers and expedite completion of the Financial report adhering to advice standards in order to deliver a cost effective, compliant and efficient sales and advice process. Job Specification ? Interpret, evaluate and provide feedback on the quality of Financial Planning advice provided ? Compose, review and deliver draft Financial reports for the Adviser, making discretionary decisions in relation to specialist Financial Planning arrangements ? Identify, recommend and implement improvements to the advice proposition in line with policy, industry practice and regulatory requirements designed to deliver efficiency, quality and cost benefits ? Build and maintain effective working relationships with Financial Advisers to prioritise and manage overall workload within agreed SLAs ? Inform, guide and provide technical advice to Financial Advisers on the systems, tools and processes at their disposal so that they have the knowledge they need to utilise them efficiently and effectively ? Liaise with third party providers of legal, and other financial services, to meet business and customer requirements and SLAs ? Research, develop and maintain an in depth knowledge of propositions as well as a broader awareness of the Financial Services market including taxation, trusts, investment, pensions, regulation in line with industry practice and regulatory changes to ensure up to date and compliant advice is provided and to meet ongoing customer requirements ? Deliver short term / one-off projects and activities as required by and to the standards and outcomes agreed with Line Manager Person Specification ? Significant knowledge of tax and Financial Planning solutions ? Good knowledge of end to end sales processes, systems and tools ? Strong knowledge and understanding of the financial services regulatory and compliance framework ? Experience of dealing with customers from a sales perspective would be an advantage ? Able to work within defined business processes and meet SLAs ? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal ? Good IT and report writing skills Qualifications/Other QCF Level 4 qualified (Diploma in Financial Planning) Please visit for further opportunities.
