Senior Pensions Administrator
Senior Pensions Administrator Birmingham Circa ?28,000 My client is a multi award winning TPA, who have been voted in the Top 100 best companies to work for by the Sunday times 2014. Due to the continuing growth of the business my client is now looking to add 2 Senior Pension Administrators to the dynamic administration team servicing both members and clients on several Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) pension schemes. Responsibilities will include ? Takes overall responsibility for the delivery of high quality administration services in the designated locations. ? Assists members with complex pension issues and helps support and develop less experienced members of the team. ? Provides a timely, efficient, professional and personal service to meet the needs of all our client/members. . ? Completes DC processes in accordance with TPA target service levels and exact timescales. ? Maintains and updates member records on the Universal Pensions Management system (UPM) and processes member events, including retirements, deaths, early leavers, transfers in and out, illustrative quotations. ? Maintains the scheme cash books, reconciles bank statements and prepares the cash-flow forecasts. ? Assists in the preparation of Administration Reports and presentation of these to clients/trustees. ? Ensures accurate and timely recording of all work in the time recording system and that all work is logged out of Casework correctly for billing purposes. ? Ensures all work is charged, in particular, requests and projects outside the agreed client fee basis. ? Coaches less experienced administrators in order to develop their experience and confidence Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Attributes: Qualifications: ? GCSE / Higher (or equivalent) in Maths and English at minimum grade C or above, or relevant comparable experience. ? Professional qualification, such as Associate Membership to the Pension Management Institute, is currently studying, and/or has relevant industry experience. Skills / Experience: ? Proven solid experience of day-to-day pension administration and working on both DB and DC pension schemes. ? Has up to date knowledge of relevant pension legislation, technical developments affecting pension administration and industry best practice. ? Information Commissioner, HMRC Limits, the Pensions ? Regulator, rules and regulations and recent legislative changes. ? Duties will consist of:- Assist with renewals of Group Personal Pensions and ensure excellent service level is provided to clients. Assisting the Consultants and other members of the team in order that they may carry out their role within the company. To assist with research required by Consultants to enable them to provide solutions to clients. Prepare tender documents for new business leads. Senior Pensions Administrator Birmingham Up to ?29,000 My client, a leading pensions consultancy, who advise on all aspects of employment, including health-related insurance and risk; employee compensation and pensions; human resource strategy planning; job design and change management; and staff assessment and legal issue. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pensions Administrator to join the Birmingham team. Responsibilities will include: ? Carry out complex DC and DB pension calculation ? Checking junior members work and support training and development ? Suggesting changes required to the system to reduce variation in process measurements. ?
