Senior HR Advisor
Our public sector client seeks a Senior HR Advisor to join them on an initial temporary contract running to March 2015. They are keen to attract an experienced CIPD qualified human resources professional who is already working as a Senior HR Advisor or someone who is looking to progress to this level from their current role as HR Advisor or similar. You must have a proven track record as a problem solver and be able to evidence delivery of creative solutions to often complex and sensitive HR issues whilst managing a varied HR caseload. It is essential that you have a strong working knowledge of employment law and best practice and are able to advise on and undertake investigations into grievances, bullying, harassment & disciplinaries, and managing staff absence. Further you must be able to deal with complex casework and negotiations including TUPE transfers, restructures and policy / terms and conditions changes. Being able to work well with staff at all levels within the organisation is key and you must be able to convey a confident and professional approach to your work as well as showing resilience and tenacity. There are a number of key HR projects that the organisation is wanting to proceed with and with your focused and analytical approach you will ensure that these are delivered on time and in line with set objectives. Candidates who have worked in a commercial or private sector background are of particular interest as it is hoped they can bring their experience and knowledge to provide new ideas and perspectives to various aspects of the role.
