My client is looking for an Interim Senior Auditor to join a Birmingham based Financial Services organisation for 6 to 12 months, with a view to going permanent in 2015. The successful consultant will be a professional interim and a qualified Internal Auditor from a Financial Services background.
The organisation has a growing and dynamic team but are looking to expand quite extensively over the next 2 years allowing lots of room for progression. You must be comfortable liaising with multiple stakeholders and have the ability to work in a project team. There will be an expectation to have the expertise to lead in a team environment and add value upon commencement of the assignment.
Skills and Qualifications:
? Good knowledge of the Financial Services industry, particularly of the insurance and/or banking sectors.
? Knowledge of modern audit concepts, techniques and project management.
? Proven ability to understand regulations and see how they apply in a practical way to the business.
? Proven ability to review systems of control.
? Strong client service focus with drive for continuous improvement, innovation and quality.
? Degree (or equivalent) educated ? minimum 2:1
The ideal candidate will be fully ACA/ACCA/IIA qualified with previous internal audit experience in a large, complex organisation.
