Trainee Secretary/Office Clerk
Due to the continued growth of this business, they are looking to recruit a full-time Trainee Secretary to join the team at their Barnard Castle office. The Trainee Secretary will provide secretarial and administrative services to surveying staff and the Marketing Manager, and also provide support to the Managing Director’s PA, when required. The role will involve audio typing, maintaining filing systems, managing diaries, database management and website maintenance, as well as dealing with the post, answering telephone calls, ordering stationery and undertaking any other general duties to ensure the smooth running of the office. The successful candidate will ideally have some experience in an office environment, be a fast, accurate typist and possess good literacy, numeracy and organisational skills. Candidates with excellent IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office systems will be preferred. The Trainee Secretary will also be able to deal efficiently and politely with clients on the telephone and in person.
