Operations Manager
Operations Manager Didcot £28-30per hour 3 months contract basis This leading large housing association currently has a vacancy for Operations Manager. The role will be on a contract basis for a minimum of 3months, most likely longer. There is the possibility of a permanent role at the end although this is not guaranteed. The job purpose will be: • Responsible for the development, co-ordination and management of the delivery of Responsive and / or Planned Maintenance service and & ensure effective management and control of Planned & Cyclical projects. • To assist with the development and delivery of effective Property Services strategies, policies and good practice to shape and drive Sovereigns business objectives and maximise the potential of its current and future assets. • Responsible for the leadership, management, coaching and development of the Maintenance Managers, Area Surveyors and/or Team Leaders. Some of the main responsibilities of the Operations manager will be to ensure that all maintenance repairs are effectively managed and undertaken, works are delivered within the allocated budgets, resources are managed effectively and complaints are dealt with professionally. You will preferably have previous housing experience, have good man-management skills and have a thorough technical knowledge around housing and trade staff/contractors.
